Spring Road Trip

Today we ventured out for a nice drive in the country. First up Montbeliard, France. It has quite a history: home of Peugeot's main manufacturing plant, home of the oldest Luthern Church in France, and the home of George Cuvier - the founder of paleontology! On the way back we visited Porrentruy, Switzerland which had a nice botanical garden and a quaint city center. We were just getting on the highway to go home when we saw the Lamborghini dealership and stopped for a look inside... See pictures from Montbeliard here, and Porrentury here.

Tucson Arizona

Robert went to Tucson for business and was lucky enough to stay over the weekend. Some of his work colleagues were nice enough to take him hiking in the mountains of Catalina State Park. Just a few minutes away from the office, there are a variety of trails to choose from. Even though the terrain, landscape and weather are quite different from the Alps in Switzerland, walking straight up a mountain on a clearly marked path is still the same. Unfortunately, he didn't see any of the wildlife the area has to offer like rattlesnakes, mountain lions, coyotes, scorpions, or Gila monsters! Oh well, maybe next time! See pictures from Tucson here.
